      Brent Byrd began his painting career working on apartments for a little extra
money during college break. After graduating from Eastern Illinois University with a
degree in Hospitality/Business Management, Byrd moved to San Diego where he
continued painting and started to refine his skills. He worked as a crew member on a
1934 wooden sailboat named "Orion". Daily tasks included painting and staining as well
as working on various wood restoration projects.

      Byrd moved back to his hometown of Charleston Illinois where Byrd Paint
Company evolved. Continuing to refine his skills, Byrd Paint Co. completed a vast
number of projects including historic restorations, new construction (residential &
commercial), complete remodels/repaints and provided consultations for numerous
projects throughout East Central Illinois.

      Byrd is a U.S. Army veteran and with over 13 years experience in the painting
industry, Brent brings his knack for color combination and attention to detail to each job.
His thorough enjoyment of design is seen throughout Charleston. On the website you
can see his talent at updating and refreshing outdated homes.
